Dear Fellow Tarot Reader,

I’m delighted that you’re here and interested in perhaps undertaking an adventure into the art of Tarot reading together with me, whether for one conversation or long-term! Working with new or experienced readers is an absolute joy for me.

I find myself particularly inspired by getting to know other readers, becoming familiar with their Tarot dreams, whatever they may be, and helping to set out on a path in that direction.

I’d like to share some thoughts with you before we embark on our journey of learning together so that you can be sure I am the teacher you’re looking for.

I read the cards from a Jungian, psychological perspective that considers all the cards, but especially the Major Arcana, as archetypes that provide meaning and insight in all of our lives. I read the cards for advice, insight, personal growth, and self-development. My own background (more than twenty-five years of study) has been focused on the Rider-Waite-Smith Deck and the countless contemporary decks that it has inspired. If you are interested in specialty topics such as astrology, Kabbalah, numerology, or other esoteric practices, or if you are more interested in decks in the Marseille or Thoth tradition, I’m sure you could find someone willing to work with you on those.

If, however, you’re interested in gaining experience on the Tarot for general and insightful purposes like I’ve described, I would be happy to work with you.

During our sessions together, I will ask where you’re coming from with regard to the Tarot (even if you’re brand more) and where you’d like to go. Then, together, and guided by intuition, we will embark on learning about the cards through practice. Our session may include conversation, my reading for you, and then of course, you doing practice readings for yourself with some guidance. Our session will intuitively flow where it needs to go.

I tend to expect some things from my student-friends. If others describe you as open-minded, thoughtful, sensitive, and on the creative side, you sound like someone who would benefit most from learning with me. As the most transformative and insightful interactions come from a place of genuine interest and mutual respect, I want to learn from working with you as well. It’s important to me that we both have a good time!

Finally, if we are indeed well-suited to work together, I’d like to share that I very much treasure my returning student-friends. I would love to form an ongoing student-friendship with you. You and I will both benefit from the rewarding experience of developing a trajectory of growth over the long term, fostered by mutual familiarity, honesty, trust, and warmth. I look forward to working with and getting to know you as a person.
