Today's message isn't sunshine and rainbows. Today's message--even on a Holiday--isn't a good one. But there is always hope! On Thanksgiving we see the Star Reversed. Family that lets you down. Sadness when you should be experiencing happiness.
Just do it! You know, the work that’s staring you in the face. See if you find something rewarding or satisfying about those tasks.
The question for you is: what extraordinary thing are you ignoring or overlooking that is present and at work in your own life?
It is in the interaction between the internal and the external, between the old and the new, between convention and chaos, that we find our realities and our selves. This is why I find ballet and the Tarot to be fundamentally akin and why I find myself so enigmatically and profoundly drawn to each.
What better way to access the contents of our unconscious than through a set of images with potentially profound feelings attached to them? The Tarot!
And this ultimately unexplainable phenomenon of recognizing truth when it appears—whether mundane or miraculous or outright magical—is at the core of what I like to call “the Tarot experience.”
